Originally from Connecticut, Zach Grappone is a musician, recording engineer, and producer currently based in Philadelphia, PA. After studying music and recording at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, Zach went on to work as an engineer at Dubway Studios in Manhattan, and Pilot Recording in The Berkshires.
Zach has had the opportunity to engineer and assist on projects featuring, Steve Jordan, Josh Groban, Larry Campbell, Watsky, John Krasinsky, Bruce Willis, Stephen Oremus, Campbell Scott, Lauren Ambrose, and Charles Barkley. In addition to working on larger projects, Zach has a unique collection of his own equipment he often uses in his home studio and when recording remotely.
Being a musician is just as important to Zach as being an engineer. Having a background in music and actively being a musician helps him effectively communicate with bands and artists during sessions. Zach also uses his musical talents to produce, arrange, and collaborate with other musicians when not working with his own bands, Miss This and ugly brothers.
